Terms and Conditions

Purchasing

• The SmartPass® is a prepaid package containing ten (10) one-way flight vouchers that you can use to book a flight for yourself or others. One (1) voucher is equivalent to a one-way ticket to any destination served by Sunlight Air and includes 10 kg checked and 7 kg carry-on baggage allowance, VAT, and terminal fees.

• The SmartPass® is only available for purchase online or in-store through: Sunlight Air’s website; events or travel expos organized or joined by Sunlight Air; and Sunlight Air’s general sales agents and accredited travel agencies. Purchases made outside of these options are not authorized.

• The SmartPass® is available in both physical and digital forms. It may be shipped as a booklet or sent electronically, depending on the purchaser’s chosen format during purchase.

• The SmartPass® may be paid for in Philippine Peso currency through credit cards.

• When availing of the SmartPass®, please provide your full name, date of birth, mobile number, home address, and valid email address on the billing and shipping page.

• You may purchase a minimum of one (1) SmartPass® per transaction. No maximum purchase limit applies.

• The SmartPass® cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other promotions, discounts, privileges (senior citizen, PWD, etc.), or vouchers.

Redemption

• The SmartPass® is valid for flight redemption to any destination served by Sunlight Air for one (1) year from the date of purchase. The purchase date is indicated on each voucher.

• Redemptions outside the validity period are not permitted. However, travel can occur beyond the validity period provided the redemption was made before SmartPass® expiration. The validity period will not be extended.

• To redeem flights using the SmartPass®, please email your inquiry to smartpass@sunlightair.ph with your SmartPass® booking reference (found on the inside cover of the physical booklet or within the digital SmartPass® account) and the serial number of the voucher you wish to use (found on each voucher).

• After availability confirmation, submit the passenger’s full name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, and email address within three (3) hours. Failure to provide these details within the timeframe will result in forfeiture of the reserved slot.

• Flight redemption using the SmartPass® cannot be done at airport counters, general sales agents, or accredited travel agencies. Redemption requests sent via Viber, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, or other platforms will not be acknowledged. Only emails sent to smartpass@sunlightair.ph will be processed.

• SmartPass® vouchers can be redeemed starting forty-five (45) days up to five (5) days prior to the intended flight departure date.

• For roundtrip flights, use two (2) SmartPass® vouchers per passenger.

• The SmartPass® is not valid for group or corporate bookings using all ten (10) vouchers on the same flight. For such bookings, please email your request for a quotation to groups@sunlightair.ph.

• Redemption is eligible for any travel date, but seat availability—especially during holidays and peak seasons—is subject to SmartPass® allocation per flight. The SmartPass® does not guarantee seat availability on specific flights or dates.

• Additional fees apply for add-ons such as prepaid baggage, meals, seat selection, and insurance. These may be paid upon redemption or at least forty-eight (48) hours before departure.

• Flights redeemed with the SmartPass® are non-rebookable, non-transferable, non-returnable, non-reroutable, and non-endorsable. They cannot be changed, traded, bartered, or redeemed for cash, check, or credit.

• No credits or rebates will be given for unused SmartPass® booklets or vouchers. Lost or stolen booklets or vouchers will not be replaced.

• The SmartPass® is giftable or transferable only if it has not been used to redeem a flight. To gift or transfer, email your request to smartpass@sunlightair.ph with your booking reference and the recipient’s full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.

• If you miss your confirmed flight, the SmartPass® voucher used for booking will be forfeited, and the flight will be considered as flown.

General Terms

• Passengers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents required by relevant authorities at every point of their journey. These may include, but are not limited to, health declarations and certificates, LGU-mandated forms, and other documents required by laws, regulations, LGU ordinances, and other governing entities involved in departure, arrival, or overflight.

• Passengers must have these requirements ready for presentation at all times.

• Personal information such as full name, age, date of birth, gender, contact details, nationality, and flight-related details will be collected and used solely for the purposes related to the purchase, booking, and use of the SmartPass®.

• Passengers traveling with infants who have booked seats must present the child’s birth certificate or valid ID upon boarding.

• Any suspicious or fraudulent purchase or redemption of the Sunlight Air SmartPass® will result in automatic forfeiture without refund or reimbursement. Flights already booked under such circumstances will be automatically canceled. Sunlight Air will have no liability in these cases.

• Passengers agree to hold Sunlight Air free and harmless from any losses, damages, expenses, claims, demands, awards, or costs arising from the purchase and/or use of the SmartPass®.

• Sunlight Air shall not be liable for any damages incurred by passengers in relation to the use of the SmartPass® under any circumstances outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. All disputes relating to the Sunlight Air SmartPass® shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Philippine courts.

• In case of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and those found in promotional materials, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

• Sunlight Air reserves the right to reject any claim that violates these Terms and Conditions.

• Sunlight Air may amend, revise, delete, repeal, or suspend the SmartPass®, or replace it with a similar product or program, at any time without prior notice.

• Interpretations or decisions by Sunlight Air regarding these Terms and Conditions, including the addition of terms not expressly stated herein, shall be final and binding.

• By purchasing and using the Sunlight Air SmartPass®, passengers agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as Sunlight Air’s Conditions of Carriage at the time of purchase and/or redemption.
